Since finishing uni for summer, Osian and I have been on a few little adventures together. A few weeks ago, we went on a to a lakeside village. The lake's huge, and is a popular place for outdoor swimming, and water sports. At the edge of the lake there are lots of little lagoons, which are shallow and calm, a perfect place for a little boy who loves throwing sticks and stones into water.
The lagoons are a place I came to a many time when I was pregnant, it was a hot summer and this is my first choice of where to go on a sunny day. I was always thinking what it would be like coming back in a few years time with the baby, so it was lovely to watch Osian play.
We spent ages there, I think Osian would have happily stayed all day if he could. But it was time for lunch, so we headed to the Slate Museum, which is on the other side of the lake, and had lunch in the cafe. After lunch we had a look at a few of their displays, Osian particularly liked the display of an old train. We then had another wonder around on this side of the lake, and watched the steam train, which runs along the lakeside go by.
I took so many photos, I tried to narrow it down to just a few, but ended up posting quite a few. It was way too hard to choose just a few!
