Things I Like To Do In My Spare Time

Once again I've been feeling pretty bogged down with uni work. I'm not usually a stressed out person, I'm usually quite laid back about things. Recently I've been feeling quite stressed, and essays seem to have taken over my life.

I've just finished referencing up my research proposal, and have a little time before I head off to bed so can do something I enjoy.

I can't decide what to do, so I thought I'd write a list and choose. You'd think I'd already know because I spend half my time that I'm supposed to be doing work thinking of all the other things I could be up to.

Watch reality TV -  I don't watch all reality shows, but I get pretty into the ones I do watch. My favourites being Teen Mom, The Real Housewives of Orange County, Geordie Shore, Keeping up with the Kardashians. The new series of Teen Mom looks so good, I can't wait for it to air in the UK.

Read - After watching Insurgent in the cinema a few weeks ago, I've re-read the Divergent trilogy, but I haven't read Four again yet. I also read The Maze Runner trilogy shortly after Christmas and recently bought the prequel that I'm yet to pick up.

Watch Non-reality TV - GAME OF THRONES, I'm so excited for this to start back tomorrow, just over 24 hours to go. I've been watching One Tree Hill from the start, I forgot how good the first few series are. I bought an entertainment pass on NowTv ready for Game of Thrones, and have been watching a few of the box-sets on there, my favourites so far are Revenge and Criminal Minds.

Read blogs - Since entering the blogging world I've come across many blogs I love to read. I'm always coming across new ones through Facebook groups and Twitter, which means a forever growing reading list.

Write - I write my blog posts in my spare time, it's not something I really make time for, I started it as a hobby and would like it to continue being a hobby. Unless I've been reviewing a product, then I make time to write it up.

Sort through photos - I go through fazes of taking loads of photos, and can sometimes take quite a while to sort out. Since they're mainly photos of Osian I love sorting them out, I often sit on my phone at night having a look back on the photos I've taken that day.

Stalk celebrities social media accounts - This is one I usually do after watching a film/programme with a certain actor in, I then like to have a nosy as to what they're up to. I'm not a huge fan of anyone in particular but go through little fazes of checking up on a certain person.

Sit and do nothing - Yes, nothing! It's sometimes just nice to have a little sit down when nothing needs done. After a little while I'll usually start scrolling through Instagram, but I'm still not doing much.

All of which will usually be accompanied by a hot cup of tea and some biscuits, or cake, or chocolate, etc.

    1. I have hardly any photos up around my house because I'm yet to print any out. The downside of everything being digital!

  8. Sounds like some great ways to unwind. I have an unhealthy addiction to Dance Moms, check it out if you haven't already. I cracks me up, horrifies me and makes me feel like a better parent- basically what I'm looking for from a reality TV show.

  10. Ooh yes, reading or a bit of TV with a cuppa and slice of cake has to be on my list of favourite things to do when everything else has been taken care of (or I've decided to ignore it). Oh, and making lists - I love that too!! #MummyMonday

  11. I can relate to all of the above. I love nothing more than sitting down at night reading blogs when Billy has gone to bed. Cup of tea and something sweet makes it even better!
