'Hello, is anybody there!?'

Recently Osian has taken a huge interest in phone's, often picks up my phone and hands it to me, he's either wanting to phone someone or he says 'baby' meaning he wants to watch videos of himself. He finds himself hilarious, and will sit watching them for ages, I don't blame him, this is usually what I spend my evenings doing.

Osian has a few toy phones, he usually spends a while playing with the buttons, also putting it to his ear and babbling away. All of a sudden he doesn't need toy phones, as everything is a phone. He'll pick up anything put it to his ear, then starts having a very serious sounding babbling conversation with someone.

Whilst having this serious sounding conversation he walks up and down the room, or around in circles. Sometimes stopping to have a think about what he's going to say next. He looks like a little business man!

It's got me wondering, what's he thinking about whilst doing this? Is there someone on the other end replying to everything he says? Or is he just having a good chatter away to himself in Osian language? I can imagine him saying 'Hello, is anyone there?', but who knows what he's actually saying. He's recently been doing so many things where he clearly stops to have a think about what to do next, or has a pause before doing something to assess the situation, and I would love to know what he's thinking about at such times.

Come to think of it I've always wondered what he thinks about, even when he was just a tiny newborn, his thoughts where probably filled with milk and sleep, it would have still been fascinating to know. I probably do wonder more so now, as I can see it in his face and eyes that he's making decisions and thinking things through.

  1. I think it's cute when kids do this, my daughter used to do this a lot, and now she's always wanting to call somebody!

  2. Very cute - love this #BinkyLinky

  3. Osian is so cute! It sounds like he's having so much fun learning and playing. I wish I knew what my twins were thinking half the time or come to think of it why they do certain things. Thanks for linking up to the #BinkyLinky

  4. He is very cute! I wonder what Emily is thinking often, I love children's imagination they can make the littlest thing seem amazing. xx

  5. I could've written this post myself! I've got a video of J walking round the room in a circle on his phone having the most serious conversation I've ever heard, haha! They're just fantastic aren't they? We'll never know what's in their little minds but I hope it's happy whatever it is x

  6. Aww so cute! I would love to know what goes on in Oliver's head, it must be great to be a toddler! Love his little leggings :)

  7. Oh I love the phone stage and MM is still there. She loves phones and uses remotes as phones too! It's so cute. I think it's there way of wanting to learn to easily communicate like the rest of us. Cute photo too. Thank you so much for linking up to Share With Me. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. #sharewithme
