I can't believe how fast 2014 went by. It felt like it was only a few months, not a whole year! Both Osian and I entered the new year fast asleep, but fireworks woke him up at 20 past and he wasn't too happy about it.
I don't really make new year resolutions, but I've made one this year. Who knows how long it will last but I'll try to stick to it.
Osian entered 2014 a baby and left it a little boy. He's grown up so much recently, and it's quite surreal thinking about what he could do this time last year as opposed to what he can do now. Even though I feel like it has gone way too fast, I have absolutely loved watching him growing and changing.
I'm sat here wondering what this year will bring. I can see it being a busy year, I've got two extra modules this semester, two lots of exam periods and assignments to do between them. I'm hoping uni work doesn't completely take over. Last semester I had a Wednesday off, and I really loved having a day with Osian, where we could just chill or go and about, but we won't have such a day together any more. I'm very thankful for the time we do get together but I can't help wishing we could have a little more.
Aside from the busyness of uni I'm hoping we can fit in lots of family time, and days out. I really hope we can take Osian to the zoo at some point, which is somewhere I've wanted to take him for quite a while. There are also a few other places I'd love to take him, but mainly I'm just looking forward to spending another year with my little monkey!
