Bucket List - 2015

I've never written a bucket list before, so 2015's is my first. It's a mix of things I would like to do for both Osian and myself.

Make time for the gym - Before making time for the gym I really need to buy some new trainers. I would ideally like to be able to go 2/3 times a week but I'm not sure if that's doable so at least once a week is my goal for the moment.

Find Gluten-Free meals - Last week I was told I have a high sensitivity to gluten, I'm waiting to be referred to a consultant to see if further testing needs done, but for the mean time I've been cutting out gluten and it's been making me feel a lot better. The problem is I'm yet to find many gluten free meals I actually like, so hopefully by the end of the year I will have found loads and can easily whip up a tasty meal.

Find more places for Osian to walk about - Osian loves running and walking about but is too young to be walking next to roads. I'm hoping I can find lots of places that are safe for him to be free and run around. I've already found somewhere that he can go on a Saturday morning, but would like to find some outdoor places that we could go to any time and any day, well we'd still have to take into account the weather so maybe not any time.

Take Osian to Chester Zoo - Osian recently went to Colwyn Bay Zoo and he loved it. I'm hoping to take him to Chester Zoo in the summer.

Stay on top of uni work - This is a really big goal of mine for semester 2, I don't want to be panicking and rushing doing everything at the last minute. I want to be well organised and spend more time doing uni work outside of lectures.

Think of indoor activities to do with Osian - As well as having more places to run about I would love to have different things to do with him whilst we are in the house. He has a variety of toys to play with, he has a huge book selection that he will spend ages looking through and we sometimes do some colouring together, but I would like to have quite a few more options of things for us to do.

Go to see Wicked - This is something I've been wanting to do for years, and hopefully in the summer I will be able to go. If not this will definitely be up on next year's list!

Read more books - I got quite a few books for Christmas so I would like to read them all this year, hopefully I'll spend a few evenings sat with a book instead of staring at a screen.

  3. I'd love to go see Wicked too and I really need to read more books this year. I used to all the time when I commuted on the train, but since I've been driving the problem has been finding a quiet moment. Great bucket list! #PoCoLo

I'm currently gluten-free, as well as dairy, soy, grain, legume and refined sugar-free!! It's challenging, but there are actually loads of tasty and easy recipes you can make. I share some on my blog if you're interested.
