Celebrating Osian's First Birthday With My 1st Years Review & Giveaway

I first came across My 1st Years after wining a £25 voucher, and it took me ages to choose what to buy with it, they have a really lovely range of clothes, toys, bath sets, etc. If you haven't heard of My 1st Years I recommend you look at their website, their gifts are gorgeous, plus you can get them personalised for free. As well as having a beautiful range of Boys and Girls items, they also have some gifts for Mum and Dad.

You may have read my post about My 1st Years wishlist. Well we have been lucky enough to have been sent one of the gifts for Osian's birthday and to write a review. We were sent the beautiful Star Hooded Baby Robe. The robe came wrapped in tissue paper, inside a lovely box.

As I said in my wishlist we did have a lovely dressing gown for Osian, but it's way too small for him. It came in very handy for after swimming and after baths. The same can be said for this Robe, although we haven't been swimming yet, with uni, a new job and nursery 3 days a week, we unfortunately just don't have the time for the 3 of us to go. That being said I'm going to make an effort to get us to go in the next few weeks.

The robe is lovely and soft, it's got me thinking I need a new dressing gown. The design is just perfect, I love the baby blue and the stars. My favourite part is the little ears on top. How cute are they? The sizing is also great, it isn't too big that Osian gets lost in it, but it has plenty of growing room so should hopefully last a while. Osian's name seems to be stitched on well, it looks lovely and I would be very surprised if it ever came loose.

As well as being handy for after the bath and swimming I have just been thinking about how nice this will be for the colder mornings we've been getting. Osian can easily crawl about in the robe (I found this out when I was trying to get him to stay still for a photo!) so it will keep him nice and snug when he plays in the mornings.

Overall I love the robe, it's just perfect. Osian seems pretty pleased with it too. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about it. Plus how cute does he look in his dressing gown? Well I obviously think he looks cute all the time, but there's something so nice about him wearing this!

I'm very excited to be able to offer you all a chance to win a £25 voucher to spend on whatever takes your fancy on their website. Just a little warning, if you're anything like me it may take a while to choose because everything looks so lovely!

Good luck everyone :)
