OXO Tot Flippy Snack Cup Review

We probably have way too many things but I always seem to be on the hunt to buy more feeding products for Osian. So when I was recently given the opportunity to review a product from OXO Tot I was very excited. I decided to choose Flippy Snack Cup from their feeding range. The snack cup comes in either, aqua, green or pink, I opted for the aqua.

This is a completely new product for Osian. Even though the product is recommended for 12 months+, I thought it would be okay to try it out now, since Osian's 12 months next week. We can't give Osian snacks in a bowl because he's more fascinated by the bowl than the foods so it will all end up on the floor, so I thought the snack cup would save him having to be a in a highchair for all his snacks, and would be perfect for taking out and about.

The cup is a simple yet lovely design, and in my opinion looks very modern. The edges are all smooth, and the handles nice to hold. The top is definitely designed for little hands, as I tested it out before giving it to Osian to ensure there were no hidden sharp bits, but it was a bit of a squeeze! As you can see from the photo below the edges of the top are very smooth. The flaps are also flexible and easy to move. A cover is also included with the snack cup, which will be handy for when we are using out and about.

For the purpose of taking photos I put Osian in his high chair to test out the snack cup. When I handed him the cup the first thing he did was to give it quite a good battering. He spent ages hitting the tray of his high chair with the cup, and it didn't have any marks or damages afterwards, so Osian has shown that must be a well made product. Also it proved to us that the flaps are very good at keeping the snacks in.

I wasn't sure if he'd figure out how to get to his grapes without a little guidance, but I let him have a good explore for a while and then he realised the way to get to them, and managed it all by himself.

Overall I was very impressed by the Flippy Snack Cup, I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Osian seemed very pleased with it too, not sure what was more fun, eating his snack or bashing it around! I think it will be very handy for all snack times, no matter where we are.

-  Disclaimer - We were sent a flippy snack cup for the purpose of an honest review, all words and opinions are my own.

Such a brilliant concept. I'm starting to get to the point where Baby London is fascinated by the jar too, so this will be handy for us! #triedtested

  7. This looks so handy. We have the same problem as Baby M thinks bowls are for turning upside down. Snacks end up everywhere. We have trips quite a lot too so this would be great for that too #TriedTested
