The Ordinary Moments #4 - Osian's Nap Times

While Osian's napping during the day I like to use this time to enjoy a nice cup of hot tea. I rarely drink cups of tea when he's awake because I don't like drinking hot things whilst he's crawling about.

After my cup of tea I like to try and get anything I need to do, but sometimes I just love to sit and watch some TV shows whilst having a snack. I'm quite into watching Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead at the moment, which are both very addictive shows.

It is only in the past few months Osian has napped during the day without being in the car or in my arms the whole time, so I do like to make the most of a little time to myself. Although if he sleeps for too long I start wondering what to do with myself and the place starts to feel a little too quite, but if he needs a long nap I am very thankful he is now able to do it all by himself.

  1. I really wish my little one would start napping! I do get the occasional 10 minutes, but usually if I move about she wakes up. Glad you're finding a bit of time for yourself x

  2. That time to yourself is so important. I have been really strict about routine and nap times for my girls and as such they both nap at the same time for a couple of hours in the afternoon- I often do jobs, or work, or blogging, but sometimes I sit and relax and watch TV or read a book. I really relish that couple of hours as they are so hyper and non stop the rest of the time! x

    1. It's really good that you have got them both to nap at the same time. Osian's not too hyper yet, but he's starting to get that way! X

  3. Whenever I seriously think about having another baby, the knowledge that I probably wouldn't get a chance to sit down during nap time is enough to put me off. I live for naps. I used to do loads of housework until my husband banned me and said I MUST sit down while Gwenn's asleep. Who am I to argue??!!

    xx
