Days Out With My Little Sister

Last year I used to get Friday's off uni, so I used to pick Tara up from school and we would often go somewhere. We don't get as much time together as we used to. I have hardly been anywhere with her this year, but hopefully over the summer we can do lots together.

One day I will always remember is when we went to lagoons. It was really lovely weather, although being pregnant was a bit too hot for me, but was nice and refreshing being near the water.

We took lots of pictures on my iPod, I never carried a camera around with me at the time. Actually I don't think I even had one to use. Looking back at the pictures I notice such a change in Tara, she was 8 going on 9 at the time, and acted like a kid her own age. Now she seems 9 going on 19, and can have a stropy moments like she's a teenager already!

Another thing we did quite a few times was go for a walk on the Belgium Promenade in Menai Bridge, which is next to a place called church island. It is a lovely place for a walk in the evening, and if your there on an evening with clear skies you get to see some lovely colours when the sun's setting.

Ha ha - Tara's face!

We had some really lovely times together. It's harder to make time to do things together now, I'm busy with Osian and Tara's often round at her friends or have friends over. I've had one day out with Tara and Osian, but I'm hoping to have many more, and make an effort to do something with them both.

  2. What a lovely day you both had. Spending time with family is brilliant fun. My Sister is 10 so 16 years younger than me. We always have lots of fun and no doubt will have lots more over the summer holidays.
