We were kindly sent a pack of their Cherry Rice Cakes, which is a limited edition flavour. I gave Osian a few for his afternoon snack. They are perfect size for him to easily pick them up and feed himself. Although with one he did try to put the rice cake vertically in his mouth and was getting a bit annoyed he couldn't chew on it. I was about to help him out but he managed by turning it himself. It is a good sized packet and will last for at least a couple of snack times. Cherry is a completely new flavour for Osian but he seemed to like them, anything he doesn't like will get thrown away as soon as it touches his lips!
I now carry around a little lunchbox for when we are out and about, these little rice cakes are perfect to add to the foods I carry. One thing I really like about the rice cakes is the ingredients, it is 85% wholegrain rice, 15% cherry and apple juices, and less than <1% Thiamin. It states that the Thiamin has no organic certification.
We love the rice cakes. They are definitely something to add to our shopping list. With a RRP price of £1.19 it is a reasonable price for an organic product. I thought it would be much dearer than other baby snacks, but it's pretty much on par with them. Organix products are found in most supermarkets, but they also have an online shop, where the rice cakes can be found.
