Missing him..

On Friday it's Osian's first official day in nursery, but today it's his taster session. I thought I'd be with him today, but after I'd filled in all the paper work and had a chat with the main worker in his room about his typical day, I was told he could stay for a few hours on his own. Which is a good thing, because he will have already been there without me for a couple of hours before going for a full morning on Friday.

So now I'm sat at home alone feeling a bit lost. I hope he's having a lovely time, I'm sure he's having loads of fun. I will be leaving shortly to pick him up. You'd think I would have used this time to do something productive but I've just been sat feeling sad whilst eating porridge.

Miss this cheeky face!

  3. I hope he got on OK. Toby should be starting nursery full time in August (if I can get my return to work sorted out!) - I haven't really thought about it properly until the last few weeks and now I'm starting to feel really nervous about it. We don't have family nearby and so no-one except me and my husband have ever looked after Toby before and I'm worried that if he gets upset I won't be there to comfort him. He'll have some settling in sessions to get used to it and I'm sure he'll love it. It's probably harder for us than it is for them!

    1. He did thankfully, he seemed to love it :) Hope you get it sorted. It's the same for us, it's so hard when your used to always being there. I hope Toby gets on as well as Osian has. I agree - I think it's harder for us than them!

  11. It is tough leaving your little one for the first time, I remember Little 1 starting nursery and feeling like that, now she is starting school and is going to be away 5 days a week, I will miss her. #binkylinky
