Being my silly self I completely forgot to take a picture using the milestone cards. I remembered about them on Saturday so decided to take some then. We had a bit of a battle trying to take any photos. It was just me and Osian at the time so I couldn't get anyone to hold the card next to him, neither could I place it next to him. He was so fascinated by trying to eat the card, he would drop whatever toy I tried to distract him with and would go straight for the card, leading to lots of blurred photos. He seemed to think the card was some sort of snack, every time he got hold of it he would try to chew on it.
Although it was a struggle to take any photos, I do like the ones we managed to get with this card that weren't completely blurred. I like how they are quite natural and captures Osian having a good play with the card.
So as the title suggests 'a day of firsts' this it not the only thing Osian did for the first time on Friday. Osian has been babbling for quite a while now, more so these past few days, he seems to have spent more time babbling than just playing quietly, whereas it used to be the other way around. It has been so nice to just listen to him shout away at his toys/people/himself, I find it so funny. Well on Friday he...
He said it over and over and over again, it was so cute. Although I secretly wish he was taking a picture with the card which said Ma-Ma! I'm still so happy I got to hear him say it, was such a cute moment. I hope he continues to make more babbling noises, I can't wait to hear what he has to say next.
I know the cards a bit blurred but I love this photo. He looks quite proud that he managed to get the card into his mouth ha ha. Another set of photos taken a day late (oopsy). I found it much harder to get any pictures that were not blurred whilst he had this card.
I can't believe how fast Osian is growing up! I wonder what he learns to do next - housework would be a good one ha ha. I will be sure to update you all once he is good and ready to conquer the next milestone, whatever that may be.
Wow - what a big boy sitting up by himself, so clever - he's so cute. The words won't stop now it will be something new every week. Precious times x Ax
