love2read create books with the aim to help a child develop a love of reading. love2read was created by a Mother who made a picture book for her middle child and the book proved to be a hit so she continued to make more for her children. She was then asked to make some for her fiends, and in time love2read came along so all our children can enjoy a lovely personalised book.
There are so many books to choose from. I decided to choose the 'All about me' which changed to All about Osian.
I nearly chose My Family but Osian has a lot of close family member, I couldn't fit everyone in and I'd feel awful if I left someone out. However, I'm going to try again in the future with a few pictures in a collage and add it as one picture to a page and see what it comes out like.
The front cover is made up from the pictures on the first 4 pages.
Each page contains a picture and a short sentence underneath that you have chosen.
When uploading the photos it will tell you if one of your photos is too low quality, ensuring that all your photos will come out well.
Keywords that show up often throughout the book are added to the 'Can you read the words?' page.
The last page show's all the pictures from the book.
A few days after you have ordered you will receive an email which confirms your book is on its way. I was impressed by how quickly they created the book. I must admit it's the nicest email I have ever read for something like this. I even took a screenshot on my phone because I thought it was so lovely.
I am very impressed with this book and will definitely be buying more in the future. In fact I am hoping to buy a few for gifts or keepsakes for myself. I will also get some for when Osian is learning to read. With the same words showing up frequently against pictures he knows it will hopefully help him when we get to that age.
