BelleBelly Review

BelleBelly has been designed by a Mum whilst she was pregnant with her second child. It is designed to be worn under your top and covers from the top of your trousers to your bra line. So it turns any top into a nursing top. Also it would be handy whilst pregnant to cover the gap between tops and trousers. Since it covers your back hips and belly it is perfect for me, seeing as I can get self concious about my flabby, stretch marked covered belly. Although I don't feed in public I still don't like my belly on show in front of the people I breastfeed in front of.

The band has a choice of colours - white or black, I decided to choose black because I thought it would go better with my clothes, not to mention black's a slimming colour! The band is quite stretchy so if you are using it whilst pregnant it will grow with you. To wear the band you simply pop it over your head like a top. It is made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane, which gives it the stretchiness.

I have been using the band for a few weeks now and I find it really comfy to wear.  It fits me perfectly as I can tuck the bottom of it into my trousers and the top just under the bottom of my bra, this ensures that it doesn't slide up or down. I'm quite tall so was worried it may not fit as nicely as it does. The material is nice and smooth. It also hasn't irritated my skin which some tight fitting clothes sometimes do (the joys of having sensitive skin!). Hopefully with the band being 95% cotton it will be nice and cool in the warmer months.

I even plucked up the courage to feed Osian in a cafe instead of venturing back to the car, it was an empty cafe but the workers were still there so usually I would have still gone to the car.

Overall I really love my BelleBelly Band, I'd never really thought of using anything like it but now I have it I couldn't imagine not having one. Well worth its price of £15. You can tell the band was designed by someone who in intended to use it themselves.
